Townlands Carnival 2016

Ireland’s newest music and arts festival in its second year took place in Leades House, Macroom. With a capacity of 4,000 spectators, it’s a gorgeous little festival with lots to offer. Visual spectacles, music for every taste and creativity at every turn – you can read my blog post on it here.

My role on this event sat within event production. As the event is only in its infancy, I came in to help out. I drew up a user friendly site map for staff, resolved issues that arose during the event, supported the event directors – and basically anything that needed to get done! This is one thing about event management that I appreciate. You’re versatile, you can get stuck in anywhere as your training is in problem solving – which you can (and will) do in any role!
